What do we tell our children at home and in public schools about the mass incarceration of people of color? What is the role of the faith community in addressing this issue? What are the economic and political benefits of mass incarceration and how do they continue to sustain our criminal justice system? "Mass Incarceration of Communities of Color: Understand the Past, Question the Present, Change the Future” is the topic that will be addressed through the prism of Critical Race Theory, as part of the Holmes Grove United Methodist Women’s Day Program.
